Implemented activities

Nature, as an intertwined complex of innumerable species and the relationships between them, requires sensitive and always thought-out interventions. These are carried out in support of one or more valuable species, but always with regard to nature as a whole. The overview below is a list of basic management tools performed by the land association.
Mowing grasslands

We regularly, as needed, mow grasslands in all locations.
Tree felling

In long-term neglected localities, we remove unwanted woody plants overgrown with areas with valuable steppe vegetation.
Removal of invasive trees

In the localities we try to consistently remove the blackthorn acacia, or and other invasive species that displace valuable and endangered species of plants and animals.
Biomass removal

All cut grass, excavated pruning and cut trees must be thoroughly removed from the sites.
Towing

For loosening and desirable disturbance of the involved grassland, dragging (obstruction) by horse cover or light mechanization is used.
Construction of drywall

We create stone walls from dry-stacked stones, which are a refuge for endangered lizards and snakes.
Caring for old sets

We try to preserve and restore old orchards of high-stemmed fruit trees. We perform sensitive pruning of old trees in order to prolong their life. We leave dead trees in the form of torsos. We are installing new trees of the original varieties of fruit trees on the vacancies.
Building reptiles

To support reptiles (hens, lizards and snakes), we build wooden reptile homes, representing suitable places for their reproduction and wintering.
Creation of information panels

We also design, manufacture and install information panels in the countryside.
